The Stone Valley Cemetery Association invites everyone to join us on Sunday, September 18 at 2:00PM in the Cemetery for the dedication of a flag pole generously donated by the Woodmen of the World. Work has been ongoing by members of the church to install the 28 foot pole, and we are excited about this new addition to the Cemetery. Lighting for the flag has been generously donated by Carol Witmer in loving memory of Gene Witmer.
The Daughters of the American Revolution have generously donated a memorial to the Stone Valley Cemetery honoring the Revolutionary War patriots interred in the Cemetery. A dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 1:00PM in the Cemetery. The public is invited to attend this event honoring those who paid the ultimate price for our young country.
The Ladies Aide will be holding their annual soup and bake sale on September 8, 2023 from 9AM-6PM at the Grange Hall. This year Ham & Bean, Chicken Corn and Chili will be offered at $8.00/quart. At the October 16, 2019 meeting of the Association, a vote passed to increase the cost of plots for non-members to $500 each. This increase is effective January 1, 2020. Any sales that were in the processes of being completed before that time will be honored at the old price.
