The Ladies Aide is once again holding their annual soup sale! This year Ham & Bean, Beef Vegetable, Chicken Corn and Chili will be offered at $8.00/quart. Advanced orders are appreciated (but soup will be available until sold out at the door) – to place an advanced order, fill out a form located in the back of the church, or call 570-758-4745 or 570-758-4038. The soup is always delicious, be sure to stock up the freezer for easy suppers during the cold winter months ahead!
We welcome everyone as we worship through the sorrow of Maundy Thursday to the triumphant celebration of the Resurrection on Easter Sunday. Our in-person services keep safety first, and we request that everyone wear a mask while not seated. Pews are marked to preserve distancing between families. Join us to celebrate the bounty of this year’s harvest at our Sunday, September 18th worship service. All donated food will benefit area soup kitchens, missions and the Line Mountain Food Bank. Fresh produce, packaged food items and monetary donation are welcome.
The Daughters of the American Revolution have generously donated a memorial to the Stone Valley Cemetery honoring the Revolutionary War patriots interred in the Cemetery. A dedication ceremony will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 1:00PM in the Cemetery. The public is invited to attend this event honoring those who paid the ultimate price for our young country.
